Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand inspecting the Kenyan army honour guards upon her visit to Nairobi, Kenya in 1983, as the guest of President Daniel Arap Moi. Historically, an important fact is that Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth while on holiday in Kenya with her husband Prince Philipe in 1952. She recieved the news of her fathers death, George IV and rushed back, landing on the British soil as Queen Elizabeth.
