Joshua Nkomo of Zibambwe

Joshua Nkomo, leader and founder of the Zimbabwe African People’s Union (ZAPU) governement in exile, in Zambia. He was regarded as one of the main contenders for presidenship in Zimbabwe which was won by fire brand Robert Mugabe who came from the largest tribe, the Shona. Unfortunately, tribalism still plays a big role in most of the African countries. Despite the backing of British businessman Tiny Rowland, Joshua Nkomo who had the looks of a statesman lost out on tribal basis.
