The Three East African presidents

The three East African presidents. From the left, Jomo Kenyatta of Kenya who ruled from 1964 to 1978, Milton Obote of Uganda who ruled from 1962-1966 and Julius Nyerere of Tanzania who was in office from
1964 – 1985. The three presidents met periodically to have meetings regarding the East African community matters as they had many shared services which included East African Airways, Railways and Harbours, Customs & Excise and many other common services.
